How to use Emvose M Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Emvose M 0.3 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Emvose M 0.3 Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
How Emvose M Tablet works
Emvose M 0.3 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and voglibose. Metformin lowers the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Voglibose inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

UNSAFE
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Emvose M 0.3 Tablet Taking Voglibose with alcohol reduce the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.

Emvose M 0.3 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Emvose M 0.3 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Emvose M 0.3 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Emvose M 0.3 Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
